Use the following formula to determine the approximate number of hours per week you
will need to work in order to earn your full Work-Study award.
Work-Study Award Amount
÷ Number of Weeks
÷ Hourly Pay Rate
÷ Number of Weeks
÷ Hourly Pay Rate
= Number of Hours Per Week
The Work-Study Award Amount for the semester divided by
the Number of Weeks you intend to work divided by your Hourly Pay Rate equals the
Number of Hours Per Week you will need to work to earn your full Work-Study award.
